One of the world’s largest networking organisations now has a Henley group… and that’s official.

BNI (Business Network International)  is the largest business networking referral organisation in the world, with the UK about to celebrate its twentieth anniversary. BNI was founded by Dr. Ivan Misner in the United States in 1985 with more than 170,000 members worldwide with its philosophy being “Givers Gain® – If I help you, then you’ll help me, and we’ll all do better business,” says Misner.

BNI has over 12,000 members in the UK and Ireland and has passed nearly 680,000 referrals worth over £409 million, with the Henley group about to join the fold. With BNI Henley’s group of twenty-one members, which met for the first time in 2015, formally launching now, they are expecting to welcome the Mayor of Henley, Lorraine Hillier, and an additional 20+ guests to the Catherine Wheel, Henley on Wednesday 27th April, between 6:45am and 9:30am –  the group will then regularly meet every Wednesday at the same venue.

Nick Forgham, Executive Director at BNI Berkshire and Wiltshire, said: “The past months have been all about building up the group to more than 20 members and we’ve been delighted with the support we’ve had from like-minded companies and entrepreneurs.

“We’re now turning our attention to growing the group, which will ultimately create many more opportunities for collaboration among our membership. This official launch event will demonstrate to other business people what the group is all about and how it can potentially help them grow their businesses as well.”
